2 mins walk to train station into London Marylebone (35 – 50mins) with parking space if required. We’re a few minutes from Jcn 4 of M40, accessible to M4 and M25 within 15 mins. Heathrow is 25 mins drive away. Oxford, London..
We’re a large, non smoking family house and our children are at uni, so sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes noisier. The room we let is a medium sized double, but we may also have a twin bedded room available. An evening meal with the family may be available, otherwise there’s a Marks and Spencer Simply Food at Marylebone station where you can get a ready meal to microwave or Tesco Local is in town a few minutes away.
We love having guests and would make you very welcome.

Ruth and Nigel were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Towels were provided and I had sole use of the main bathroom during my stay. The room also had a TV with Sky channels and there was a kettle, toaster, microwave cooker provided together with cutlery & crockery and everything you could need for breakfast: cereals, fresh milk, mineral water, fruit juice, fresh bread, butter, etc.
My stay had all the facilities of a good hotel with the friendliness and comfort of a home away from home. Both Ruth and Nigel were very helpful with local information and I will certainly stay with them again in the future if I get work in the area.
Thank you both very much… Jane
