Our room is a good size, light, with lovely views of the Slad Valley. There is a comfortable double bed, (plus child’s bed if required). Downstairs is a shower/w.c. Can provide breakfast – cereal/toast etc for a modest charge.

Near Stroud

Slad is a small village in the Cotswolds. The village itself is not particularly picturesque, but the countryside is stunning (written about by Laurie Lee in Cider with Rosie). There are fantastic walks from our front door, and The Woolpack pub is just down the road. We are 2 miles from Stroud (very good farmers’ market), 10 from Gloucester and 12 from Cheltenham – for shops and horse racing!.
