Chiswick, in West London, is lovely, has excellent transport links, lots of shops (Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Nature Intended), we’re very close to the station (200m), and a 30min walk to the Thames. You can walk to Hammersmith (30min).
You get to Victoria or Piccadilly Circus in less than 30min. There’s also train links to North and South, and the 94 bus (24h) that takes you straight into the West End.
